Know Your Strengths Assessment + Debrief

Are your strengths not being fully utilized in your International Development job? Is it making work feel unbearable?

So many of us fill our days with tasks that are in our “zone of excellence” (things we happen to do well) but not our “zone of genius” (things that make our heart sing like Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music).

Do you miss feeling energized by the creative, challenging work you used to enjoy when you first started working in international development?

When you sit down to write your self-evaluation at the end of the year, does your heart sink as you realize you don’t feel passionate about anything you’re working on right now?

If this is you, it is time to take the “Know your Strengths” Assessment to find out where you naturally excel, and how you can leverage these strengths at work.

After taking the assessment, you will have the answers and a game plan to get you spending more time in your zone of genius. Gallup research found that people who spend more time in their zone of genius are happier, healthier and more productive.

Included in your assessment is…

  • 20 minute online Clifton Strengths Assessment

  • Personalized insights about what you do best, AKA your “Talent DNA”

  • A 75 minute Zoom call with me to debrief on your results and develop an action plan to spend more time in your zone of genius inside and outside of work.

  • This includes some brainstorming on small changes you could propose making to your role, and strategies on how to pitch this to your supervisor, so they can see this as a “win-win”.

After taking the assessment, you will…

  • Understand what your zone of genius is

  • Have a game plan on how to actually leverage those strengths in your current role in International Development (or somewhere else)
